Carrie is a long-time member of Mountain States. Her family began attending in 1967 when she was three years old.

Carrie attended Mountain States Baptist Academy and graduated in 1981. She went one year to Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College in California and returned home in 1982. She met Mike at Mountain States and they were married in 1986.

Carrie started teaching the Beginners Sunday School class in 1986 and has continued teaching that age to present. She also leads a Care Group for women on Thursday mornings in her home.

Mike and Carrie have two children: Kirstin, 10; and Matthew, 6.
