Perth, Western Australia, June 9, 2003

It is great to be here in Australia! The first thing I noticed was the beauty of this country. The scenery—especially the beaches—is breathtaking, a nice change from Missouri. Yeah, it's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it!

Getting to know the people of Gospel Baptist Church has not been hard. We have been warmly welcomed and we feel like part of Pastor Larry Nelson's church family. Helping with music and being involved in AWANA has kept us busy this last week. We have much more planned for the summer and are looking forward to what's in store for us.

The Lord is doing a great work here and I am thankful to be a part of it. Please keep praying that the team and I will make a lasting impact for Christ in the city of Perth.
